I thought I would share some finishing with you today.
We got the "Horse Play" canvas back from the finisher and I love how they turned out.
The canvas and guides are available so give us a call if you would like to order any of them. Canvas are from Raymond Crawford Designs and the stitch guides were done by Corliss Englert.
Pat N. finished her "Wright Friends" from a class with Tony Minieri last summer. She had it framed at Blue Sky's framing across the street from the store.
Charlie M. got back her Texas Flag.
I decided I needed to start doing Share a Stitch on Friday's so that you would have it for the weekends.
Today's stitch is a "4-way Ming".
Assuming you have a fairly large area I think that this would be wonderful for a Santa coat or evening gown.
Use an over dyed thread for the straight stitches and a metallic or very velvet for the centers.
Corliss is working away on the first "Halloween Ball" canvas. She is turning out wonderfully.
The first on the series will ship in July. It is not too late to sign up. For more information click here.
Have you been to the web store lately..it is worth the trip.
Have a safe Memorial Day weekend. It is finally raining here in Central Texas and Lake Travis is on the way up. It is down almost 50 feet but has come up about 6 feet in the last 2 weeks.
Rainy weather is great stitching weather!
