I wish I could slow down time so that would have time to get everything done that needs to get done.
This summer is moving by way to fast.
Tony Minieri has been in town teaching in the store for the last three days and we have had a wonderful time. We had some new people in class who had never taken a class from him before and it was wonderful watching them have so much fun and get enthused from being in a large group stitching.
I will finish the Shepherd from the Nativity series this weekend and will be sorry to see it end.
Now that I am finished with the Nativity the pieces will be available indivually. We are taking orders now for The Holy Family. Order by August 1st and we will ship by the end of September or the beginning of October.
Next up to stitch is a Paisley Pumpkin from my local painter Karen. This will be available kitted when completed. After the pumpkin I will dive into the 12 days of Christmas Panels. I can't wait .
Today's stitch is one that I put together for a pumpkin piece that I wrote the guide for this past week. It is a Split Pavilian with tied oblong crosses and beads. In place of the beads you could put a Smyrna Cross or even a sequin.
We got a new shipment of our beautiful hand forged laying tools from Caleb. You can call the store or email us.
Time is running out to sign up for the Halloween Basket class with Laura Taylor in October. We need to get the canvas ordered. Laura is amazingly talented and this piece is sure to be loaded with wonderful stitches.
Happy Stitching! gotta go...
One last thing. Eleonore finished a stitch guide for the wonderful fall bouquet from Ewe and Eye. Call the store to order the canvas and guide. We can pull the threads for you also.
