When writing guides in the store we are always trying to come up with new stitches, variations of established stitches or new ways use them. There are also those go to stitches that we just love or stitches that we have been given in guides I decided that we needed to share some of the stitches
My first stitch is "Baroness". This is a stitch that Tony Minieri gave me on an Evening Gown in a class years ago. One of these days I will finish her.
I love this stitch because of the way it flows. Use it for a long evening gown like I have done here or sand and mountains when done in a horizontal orientation. Use an over dyed silk or wool (Lorikeet) for the diagonal stitches and then you can throw an Oblong Cross in the open area using a Kreinik size 8.
This canvas was from a line called Needle Passion. Unfortuneately she has retired and her designs are no longer available. So I have been told. Now I really want to get her done.
Loved your stitch and just what I was looking for for mountains!

Love your new "Share a Stitch Sunday" addition to your blog. I immediately graphed it out and added to my stitch file for future use.
Thanks
