Last night was the kickoff to the Columbus Show with a little shopping preview that is held and a display of Needlepoint finishing from some of the artist.
Robin King had gotten her Creepy Creatures back from the finishing and had them on a Halloween Tree. They were absolutly adorable. Sorry that the picture is so dark. I will take a better one today when the light is better. Hard to decide my favorite but I think it is going to have to be "Hootey". Go figure! We are participating in the Club from Needle Deeva for this series if you are interested. We will kit them for you or you can just get the canvas and guide. I posted the prices I believe on an earliter post last week. Just call the store to sogn up.
I loved the bright tree from Maggie that Cynthia Thomas stitched. There will be a guide available. I will get the details on the canvas later and post.
The highlight of the evening was the TEN Award from TNNA went to Amy Bunger. Congratulations to a wonderfuly talented freind. I am so honored that I have her for a BFF. The TEN Award is an award for excellance in the Needle Arts Industry.
Last weekend my "Stitch With" girlfreinds and I sent to Lauries family ranch in Columbis, Texas for a quick overnight getaway. Leland, Lauries husband joined us in the evening for a bit when he saw the wonderful cheese and fruit platter we had set out.
We went for a drive around the property and saw this adorable photoop.
That's it for now. More from the show floor later.
