I am so sorry I did not get to share a stitch with you last week. I took the weekend off and took a class from Tanya Berlin at the Bluebonnet Retreat. I have wanted to get more familiar with goldwork and took a wonderful Lion class. It just made me eager to learn more. Goldwork can be accented on a piece. Maybe some will show up on the Angel of the Nativity series, we shall see.
If you have been wanting to learn about Goldwork we are going to give you that chance in June. Meredith Willet will be teaching her Introduction to Goldwork class in the store. You can get all the information here.
Now for the stitch.
This stitch came out of a wonderful book that I believe is no longer in print " Wonderful Stitches" by Diane Schultz.
I call it "Star of David" and I used it on Josephs coat in the Nativity series.
If you have not cisited the Webstore lately, Lisa has loaded a some great designs and will be loading more this week.

I want to share with you a wonderful blog that I encourage you to follow. It is call Needle N'Thread and it is written by Mary Corbet. I look forward to what she shares every week.
Carole Lake and Michael Boren have written a wonderful book and it is flying out the store. Not only does it have a wonderful collection of stitches but it has a great listing of most , if not all, of the threads that are available and a description of each. You can order your copy in the webstore
Have a great stitching day!
