Colleen-very strange-I have been studying that stitch to use on a canvas on which I am working today! I have the Jane Zimmerman book paper clipped on that page to use on a border in the background of my canvas over 2 canvas threads. Maybe we are on the same needlepoint wave length today!? Love your stitching Sunday blog and look forward to seeing it!

Willow City Loop Wildflowers 2010

Between Llano and Fredericksburg on Highway 16 there is a beautiful road called the Willow City Loop. It meanders through private ranches and it just amazing. The vistas and fields of wildflowers are amazing. Because of the rain and cold winter we had the Bluebonnets are particularly stunning. The white Poppies make the fields look they are covered in snow.
