Stitching was slow this past week. One of my dearest friends and her family came in town from Picayune, MS. on the 19th and left on the 25th. Penny and I have known each other since 9th grade. When Mother left Picayune and moved to Austin, Penny and Ed (her husband) bought her home. We had a great time. Cooked a lot, went to the movies and just enjoyed each others company.
We have gotten "Marnie Ritters Canvas Patterns Book 3" in the store and it is a great collection of stitches. She included some great combinations that I can't wait to try some of the stitches out on some guides and projects. She was kind enough to autograph all the copies I got.
Leigh Designs got the pictures of the "Sirens" up on the website and I can't pick out my favorite. They would be great fun in a Tony Minieri Canvas Enhancement Class. Leigh Designs.
Keep your fingers crossed. We should hear from the City this week about the approval of the site plan for the new store. Then we start getting bids. I have picked out the floors, tile for the bathroom, carpet for classroom and non retail space. I will keep you posted.
Have a great week!
By the way 2 weeks til Alaska. Can't wait to go fishing!!!!!!
